Bexters Tea Room first opened in June 2013 in College Square, Stokesley. Named after our daughter Rebekah (also known as Bex), Bexters was soon to be known as ‘Stokesley’s Hidden Gem’.

With seating for just 6 customers inside and with the gorgeous summer court yard, Bexters Tea Room soon expanded to what was became known locally as the ‘back room’, just in time for the cold autumn days.

Customers often asked how long we’d been there, tucked away in the corner, but clearly it was once found – never forgotten!.

After 3 years, having outgrown the premises Bexters Tea Room was relocated to Three Tuns Wynd – continuing the theme of Stokesley’s Hidden Gem!

A brand-new development, we were able to put our own mark on the premises, keeping the warm and welcoming feel we always had in College Square.

Five years later, following the most challenging of times for all during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have moved to what will be our third and final premises!

We are so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to move to what was the Westbrook Cycle shop – now in the very heart of Stokesley High Street – and definitely no longer a hidden gem – but still a gem!

Throughout our years, we have been extremely fortunate to work with some amazing suppliers.

Our Bexters Blend Coffee made by Limini Coffee and delicious teas from Holmfirth Tea are unique to Stokesley.

We also feel very lucky that our cakes have been supplied by Linda from The Cake Shelf ever since we opened back in 2013. Her cakes are as delicious today as they were all those years ago!
